It should be noted that PDMSB has been tested on Windows XP. While a few minor changes were necessary to maintain compatibility, XP is not necessary to achieve multimedia capability.

Both Windows XP and Windows 2000 require a faster CPU to achieve comparable performance as Windows 98_SE. Sorry, folks, that's just the way it is.

Special Note - While I don't subscribe to Microsoft's activation scheme, I am devoting more effort to development and testing on XP. Microsoft has provided the necessary APIs that allow further development of my Ultimate TV using the ATI ALL-IN-WONDER 9600 Video Card. This particular development concerns the display and capture of TV and video on multiple monitor installations.

To the best of my knowledge, the rest of my application, including SAMail, runs just fine on Windows XP.
