I hope that you have read my DVD/Video page as I don't intend to repeat everything here, only add to it. I personally am not downloading a lot of MP3 songs as I haven't seen much popular country stuff being offered; however, I'm still acquiring a number of Audio CDs. In fact, my acquisition of CDs has increased since the introduction of MP3. Using AudioCatalyst, I rip every CD I get to a unique MP3 directory on my hard drive. I then load information from that directory into a ScrapBook in my Personal Digital Multimedia ScrapBook. Since AudioCatalyst uses CDDB to get song titles and uses the title to name the files created, PDMSB can transfer those titles to the ScrapBook. No, I don't sell the Audio CD, it goes into storage - it becomes my backup copy. All the songs on my hard drive are playable with PDMSB, and when I get enough to fill one, I burn a CD. With my computer connected to my TV/Stereo, I can then access/play any one of an estimated one thousand plus songs in any sequence. That's, like, 50 hours uninterrupted.
